Golf Building and Driving Range
The main level of the new golf building will be home to a new golf shop, indoor hitting simulators, restrooms, two level driving range and short game practice area.
The outdoor driving range will feature fifteen total spaces, seven covered and eight uncovered spaces. The upper-level of the driving range will sit on the south end of the golf building and sit adjacent to the indoor hitting simulators to create a wonderful upper-level practice area for our membership.
The covered range will allow for twelve-month practice regardless of weather and provide netting for when the range area is closed. We will also have launch monitor capabilities in the lower level of the range when netting is in use.
Three indoor hitting simulator rooms are being constructed for the interior of the golf building. Simulators equipped with Trackman technology will provide video and launch monitor capabilities to enhance opportunities for member practice, PGA Instruction, club-fitting, and the playing of virtual golf. Sim rooms will also be able to host events, group instruction and daily members use.
The new golf shop, situated as the primary entry point for members, offers a host of benefits and amenities. Spanning 1,200 square feet, it boasts a spacious layout flooded with natural light, creating a welcoming ambiance. The expanded sales floor will showcase a diverse array of golf equipment and merchandise, enhancing revenue potential. With a modern design and layout, the new shop will facilitate improved staff-member interactions, accommodating services such as member check-in, guest assistance, equipment sales and repair, and tournament management. The golf shop will also boast a fireplace and viewing patio which takes advantage of our wonderful west facing views of the golf course!
The new golf building will also feature new women’s and men’s restrooms equipped with day lockers and changing areas.
To the north of the outdoor hitting stations of the golf building, we will be constructing a short game practice area with a new practice green(s) and closely mown turn for member practice and instruction. The newly designed short game practice facility will be conveniently located near the golf building, driving range, and simulators. And be open daily when the range is not in use.
